Shutter Speed Reflextion

My best shot was the fast  shutter pictures because it was easier. The  slower shutter pictures were the weakest because I had a very difficult time trying to complete this part of the assignment. I used photo shop to edit all four pictures.. the tools I used were levels and curves on all four. i was able to meet the goals by asking for help. Nothing was easy in this assignment. The project in it's entirety was difficult because  The app on mt phone for slow shutter wasn't taking good enough pictures. Also  at the last minute I had to  use the real camera and I didn't know how to use it. If I could do this project differently  I would have more light up props to use for slow shutter and  learn how to use the real camera. I give myself a rate of 4 for my effort because it was hard I barley tried  I just wanted to get the assignment done.

 My best shot was of the dead leaves because it was a prime example of high depth of field. My weakest shot is the Needle tree because I think it is a mix of high and low in way, but in the end I put it as high depth. The weakest  shot doesn't need to be improved it just weak because it doesn't find into the strict category of this assignment. I used photo shop for all pictures in this project. I was able to meet the goal by taking time to take correct pictures. it was easy to edit because I  know what edits the pictures need to make them look better. The most difficult part of this assignment was taking pictures because I was trying to  make sure the pictures fit all the credentials. If i could do this assignment differently I would  shot in an area with more variety of plants. I give myself a rating of 10 because I learned and work really hard.

Texture Reflection

 My best shot  was to picture of the tree because I used a different model camera. my weakest shot was the green plant because it is slightly cloudy and foggy and not clear. I used photo shop. The weakest shot can be improved is by cleaning mt camera lens when it gets foggy. I meet the goal by went to  U mass Amherst I took the time to take pictures of plants by the pond. The easiest was editing. the hardest was taking pictures. I would find an object with multiple textures on multiple textures. I would give myself a 9 because i took time out of mt road trip to take pictures.

My best shot was the inverted color shot because  I edited  this picture well to make it more creepy. I don't have  weakest photo because both pictures are high quality and very well edited in my opinion. For the pictures, I used photo shop. The tool I used was levels. I was able to meet the goals by working with the people in my class and producing art. It was easy to edit. What was difficult to take pictures. If I can do this project differently was to used a brighter light and a better white sheet. I would rate this a 10 because I worked to come with different ideas and took sometime to edit.

The picture of the tomato plant leaf is my best shot because I put the most effort that photo see what I can come up with for a strong  picture for the first big assignment. My weakest shot was on the water fountain because that is not that interesting. Also that shot was rushed an not edited well. I used   photoshop. The tool used was the spot heal brush, dodge tool, levels,and the sharpen tool. I was able to meet the goals of this assignment by following the directions and checking I have done the assignment correctly. The easiest part of this assignment was taking the picture because it is not that complicated.If I could do this assignment again I would edit more differently and try to take more of a variety of pictures.I give myself a 7 on mt effort on this project. I choose this rating because it was mt first time and I could of done better.

Ansel Adams

    The art Adams masters in is landscape. He brings texture to the objects by being very close or being very far away. He also accomplishes to bring out texture by using natural settings. I think his work is strong because I see it as a world before color showed up on film.

The difference between a snapshot and an artistic photo is at snapshot has no editing or filters. however a artistic photo is a photo the has been altered for artistic purposes.

I think why The Falling Man Photo is considered in the top 100 best photo because it  shows the truth on what happened on 9/11 and why is an important day in U.S history and how this day impacted the States in a very serious way. This photo proves how many lives where lost on that day.
